Love - An IIlusion

I thought I was in love, till I fell in love.
What is to say that this too, is not an illusion?

I fear for her, I am the fear.
She loves with all her heart, as I think did the one before her,
Fearlessly shamelessly, I love. The one I love.
Not fearing what I did to the one I thought I loved.

Life's musing, aint it?

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever God may be,
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance,
I have not cried nor winced aloud,
Under the bludgeoning of chance,
My head is bloody but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears,
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years,
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the captain of my fate,
I am the master of my soul.

As I read this, I promise to live my life accepting everything I do as a choice that I have made. No longer will I look for excuses, or scapegoats to palm off my mistakes - Coz, Today I really believe, I am the captain of my fate and the master of my soul.
